New Tendency is a Berlin-based design studio that stands at the intersection of
contemporary product design and the enduring principles of Bauhaus. With a visual
language defined by geometry, clarity, and industrial refinement, New Tendency
creates furniture and objects that are uncompromising in form and function—each
piece a precise response to modern living. Their work is rooted in architectural
thinking and German design tradition, executed with a level of discipline that sets a
high bar for every collaborator involved.

We’ve had the privilege of working with New Tendency on two of their core product
categories. The first, the Rien Glasses—minimalist borosilicate tumblers—required
flawless transparency, proportion, and finishing. Manufactured in China, these
pieces were supported by custom-designed internal packaging structures, ensuring
secure, impact-resistant transit and immaculate presentation on arrival. Given the
product’s visual purity, there was no room for imperfection—only clarity, consistency,
and exactitude.

More recently, we produced the Torei Tray, a powder-coated metal object defined by
its structural simplicity and carefully resolved detailing. Fabricated in Vietnam, the
tray’s surfaces, edges, and finish all reflect the exacting aesthetic standard for which
New Tendency is known.

Working with New Tendency requires more than production—it demands precision,
