Grace Souky is a Venezuelan, London-based designer known for her beautifully
restrained aesthetic, where craft, ritual, and quiet luxury converge. Her work
balances the tactile with the timeless—designing objects that feel as meaningful as
they are functional. We first connected with Grace at Milan’s Salone di Satellite in
2016, where her eclectic material language and sculptural compositions immediately
stood out.
We were entrusted with the full production of her debut collection—a complex and
rewarding journey that involved coordinating expert makers across Europe and Asia.
The brass cake stand, with its elegant contrast of warm metal and wood, was
manufactured across Hungary and Slovenia, with precision-turned walnut tops
produced in Estonia. For a special limited edition, we sourced Carrara marble from a
family-run workshop in Italy, creating refined stone tops with subtle veining and
depth.
Alongside these European projects, we also produced Grace’s Nourish
Bowls—smooth, carved wooden vessels crafted in Vietnam—as well as prototyping
her borosilicate glass carafes in Romania.
This was a deeply collaborative project, drawing on a shared appreciation for slow,
meaningful production and conscious design. Grace’s work continues to bridge the
emotional and the elemental, and it’s been an honour to help bring her vision to life
across such a diverse palette of materials.
