San Diego, US.
Our work with Braid & Wood Design Studio brought together craftsmanship,
complexity, and global coordination to support one of the most refined and design-
conscious plant décor brands in the U.S. Based in San Diego, Braid & Wood is
known for its sleek, architectural approach to plant styling—blending natural
materials with clean lines and ‘space-within-space’ to elevate greenery into
something sculptural and intentional. Their products have carved out a distinct niche
in the U.S. interiors market, resonating with a growing audience that values both
minimalism and materiality.
We supported the development and production of their signature pieces, including
their wall-mounted V-hangers, freestanding planters, and plant shelves. These
deceptively simple products required a highly detailed and multi-material approach.
Elements such as terracotta pots, brass-plated metal, powder-coated finishes, and
solid wood all had to come together seamlessly—each component manufactured to
precise tolerances.
The production involved a complex supply chain: several components were made in
China and expertly consolidated with the main wooden elements at our trusted
partner factories in Vietnam. Coordinating materials across borders, aligning
finishes, and ensuring a unified aesthetic demanded a high degree of precision,
logistics planning, and quality control—especially for a brand like Braid & Wood,
where every detail matters.
Braid & Wood’s success lies in its ability to transform functional plant accessories
into aspirational design objects. Their commitment to elegant simplicity, thoughtful
proportion, and material harmony sets them apart in a crowded market. It’s been a
privilege to help bring their vision to life, piece by piece.
